When a nature faerie is born, a flower blooms for them. This is a flower unlike any other; a visual representation of the faerie's heart. It's a flower that must be protected at all costs, because it's a visual indication of its fae's health and wellbeing. It loses petals when its faerie is sick or dying — though the amount depends on the severity of this state — and wilts when its faerie is sad, stressed or otherwise mentally exhausted.

This flower must be protected at all costs. If it is destroyed or damaged in any way, its faerie will suffer the same outcomes. If it is stolen or lost, its faerie will become weak and slowly begin to die. In many ways, it is a nature fae's life source. For this reason, it is vital that their flower does not fall into the wrong hands, for such a thing could result in the fae's ultimate demise.

A fae's flower knows that depths of its soul from the moment he or she is born since in many ways, they are the physical manifestation of it. As a result of this, it takes the form that best suits these depths; the form that best represents the depths of their soul. This flower is the very centre of their existence and as vital to them as a human's heart is to them. Of course, faeries have hearts too. But there's nothing quite as critical to their existence as their object is. For nature faeries, this object is their flower.

When travelling for long periods of time or in emergency situations, this flower can be enchanted to fit within a hiding spot. However, a faerie's flower should never be kept this way permanently. It is, in many ways, like keeping the faerie itself in a box, with no space to breathe or move. This must only be used when travelling, or in the circumstance of an emergency in which the flower is at risk.

The day Lee Jiho was born, a flower bloomed for him. This flower holds Jiho's soul within its petals; the entirety of his being in the way that it blooms. If it isn't on his bedside in a little glass jar, it's held within a pendant. A delicate silver chain with a small glass bubble on the end which, when he needs it to, contains a tiny pink rose.
